EASL hosted the 64th Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo on July 26th. There were 113 registrants on hand to compete for trophies, prizes, and donuts. I had the pleasure of listening to the laughter as I watched kids catching fish. It did not matter the size or type, they were happy. One girl caught her first fish and did a victory dance that would make an NFL player envious. After two hours of heated competition, the winners were announced.

The winners were Ages 2 – 4, Biggest Fish Boys and Girls, Joel Centanni; Most Fish Girls, Drew Voiselle; Most Fish Boys, Joshua Centanni. Ages 5 – 7, Biggest Fish Boys and Girls, Caden Chance; Most Fish Girls, Murphi Bordelon; Most Fish Boys, Max Prevost. Ages 8 – 10, Biggest Fish Boys and Girls, Dexton Hayden; Most Fish Girls, Rylee Roberts; Most Fish Boys, Hudson Denham. Ages 11 – 14, Biggest Fish Boys and Girls, Collon Jackson; Most Fish Girls, Abbygail Lambert; Most Fish Boys, Ben Jackson. Overall, Biggest Fish Boys and Girls, Colton Brown; Most Fish Girls, Joey Townsend; Most Fish Boys, Phoenix Townsend.
